Results
Category leaders this week were Chansovatey, Andarge
and Aum. There are four PBs for runners with previously recorded times, with
an average time improvement of 8%, including a big +100 PPAC points
improvement for one athlete.
The tussle for first overall finisher saw
a fine sprint finish between two evenly-matched athletes at the front, both
just missing out on the 20-minute mark, and all participants made it across
the line in 35 minutes or under.

Analysis and Consistency
The top pacing consistency rating this
week is 2.45 by Yonas (with a strong second lap negative split),
highlighting the difficulties in maintaining consistent performance on the
morning, with conditions quite humid and warm despite the early start time.
However, the whole field managed the creditable achievement of keeping all
Sokha Lap splits under positive-45 seconds, including nine negative splits -
a good indication that runners accounted for the weather appropriately!
Volunteers
A special thanks as always to our five invaluable
volunteers on the morning -
Michele,
Seavleang, Vanong, Neil and Meyjou and this month we say a
fond farewell to one of PPAC's most dedicated supporters, Matt, as
athlete and helper, running in an incredible 47 official events - the second
most of any athlete to date - and regularly volunteering help across all
aspects of the club's activities. Thank you Matt!
