PPAC-116 5km Road Race

Some of the best recent weather for the July 5km road race - great to see many new runners with 22 finishers overall. Fantastic effort for everyone who took part with finish times in the range of 20-45 minutes. We hope you all enjoyed the run and join us again soon - race report and full results below! PPAC-115 5km Road Race

Dry but relatively humid for the June 5km road race with eleven first timers and 19 finishers. Great effort for everyone who took part with finish times in the range of 20-41 minutes. We hope you enjoyed the run and join us again soon. Read the race report and full results below: Results Category leaders this week were Sabine, Hangthirith and Paul. There is one PB for a runner with previously recorded times, with a time improvement of just under 50 seconds, and bonus of achieving a first PPAC points score. Race Replay Analysis and Consistency We had three excellent sub-1.00 pacing performances this week, for the top two male finishers and first female runner, with Paul's excellently paced effort scoring a 0.22 rating. PPAC-114 5km Road Race

5km running was back on the road after a break in April, with three first timers and 22 finishers for the May PPAC 5km event. Well done to everyone for braving the challenging weather conditions, we hope you enjoyed the run and join us again soon. You can find the race report and full results below! Results Category leaders this week were Chansovatey, Andarge and Aum. There are four PBs for runners with previously recorded times, with an average time improvement of 8%, including a big +100 PPAC points improvement for one athlete. The tussle for first overall finisher saw a fine sprint finish between two evenly-matched athletes at the front, both just missing out on the 20-minute mark, and all participants made it across the line in 35 minutes or under. PPAC-113 5km Road Race

The 2023 season continued with fifteen first timers and 42 finishers for the March PPAC 5km on the road. Well done to everyone, we hope you enjoyed the event and encourage all runners to come and try again soon! Results Category leaders this week were Lorry, Paul, Sreyleap and Thibaut. There are eleven PBs for runners with previously recorded times, with big improvements of multiple minutes for several, as well as a big +100 PPAC points improvement for one youth athlete. Race Replay Analysis and Consistency There are three sub-1.00 rated consistent pacing performances with one sub-0.5 performance for Davide. Pacing was challenging this week with conditions quite humid and warm for optimal distance running.
