PPAC-112 200m & 800m Track

The club's first track racing of the year made great use of early morning weather conditions at the stadium. There were two heats in the 200m and all athletes ran together for the 800m. The session was rounded out with some long jump practice. Some obstructions around the track meant the 200m was run in lanes 3 & 4 and the 800m started from lanes 2 to 4. We welcomed one first time athlete and also took the opportunity to conduct more volunteer training for timing and officiating. 200m Results 800m Results Switching from road running to track is a fun challenge and great opportunity to focus on technique and try to see how fast you can really go!
