Road running in 2023 continued with with twelve first timers and 32 finishers for the February PPAC 5km. Well done to all who took part, we hope you enjoyed the event and encourage all runners to come and try again soon!
Results
Category leaders this week were Lorry, Soboros, Muyngim
and Rachna. There are eleven PBs for runners with previously recorded times,
with big improvements of multiple minutes for many of them, as well as +100
PPAC points improvements for three athletes.
Special mentions to Markus and Lorry for their 10th PPAC events, and to
Sreyleap who scored an impressive PB participating for a 25th time - well
done!
Race Replay
There are eight sub-1.00 rated consistent pacing performances with three great sub-0.5 performances for Markus, Muyngim and Mark. Pacing this week was excellent across the field - nearly all finishers managed to complete the two Sokha laps with less than one minute difference. Overall pacing consistency is improving every month.
Finally, a special thanks to the event volunteers - with Michele and Sarah joining the team this week, alongside Seavleang, Kimkheang and Neil.
