This year Phnom Penh Athletics Club is opening club membership for the first time and we are excited to invite new members to join our club. Full members will enjoy a range of benefits by being a part of the club: Join weekly training sessions with 3+ sessions per week. Free entry to all Phnom Penh Athletic's races (10+ events) throughout 2025. Only $30 for the entire year! For those who aren’t sure if they are ready to commit, we have also created a social membership at $10/year which allows athletes to join training sessions, but none of the other benefits. PPAC-145 5km Road Race [2 March 2025]

Our first 5km Road Race of 2025 set off at 6AM sharp with the club returning to the classic Sokha course. Athletes were welcomed with overcast conditions and a slight breeze and posted some excellent performances. The race report and full results are below. Results Hugo and first timer Matthew set the pace at the front of the field, crossing the line together for the Park lap at just below sub-4:00/km pace, with Mathieu just behind. Hugo edged ahead on the first Sokha lap and maintained a small lead all the way to the end, with both athletes comfortably securing sub-20 minute finishes. Well done to all finishers for completing the 5km well under 30 minutes! PPAC-144 Mile & 400m Track Race [9 February 2025]

Our dedicated athletes were treated to ideal conditions for our first track meet of the year and there was something for everyone with a middle distance & sprint double-header! Race Report In the mile race, Jack (1st place) led from the gun, establishing a small gap on Styvenn early and extending slightly on each lap. Styvenn fought hard to keep in touch and earned himself 2nd place. PPAC-143 5km Road Race - PPAC SHOWDOWN [8 December 2024]

Our first PAC Showdown 5km Road Race started in perfect conditions at the Sokha course: cool overcast weather with a slight breeze was just what the athletes needed to post their best performances, and that's exactly what was delivered. Results The field was comprised of our top runners who all set off at smart paces to achieve their goals. Craig , leading from the gun opened up a 30s gap on the first lap which was never threatened by Jack (2nd) and he finished strongly to set a new PB and set the fastest road 5k time we have seen this season – 18:43. Jack's 19:24 was a season's best, and his fastest PPAC 5km result in almost 3 years! These were great results in keeping with the seeding for the two A qualified athletes taking part in the race. Final Showdown Qualifying Results [17 November 2024]

In Final 2024 Showdown qualification news , following our November 3km race results, this year's final qualifying table positions have been determined. The qualified athletes have worked hard to deliver top performances throughout the year reaching our challenging qualification standards and staying within the top 20 of athletes for 2024. We are very excited to challenge them one final time for the year with our PPAC Showdown . With all of our fastest athletes facing off against each other we are sure to see some fast times. The race will take place on Dec 8th at 6 am, and while only the qualified athletes are able to take part, we invite all spectators to join and witness the fastest amateur club race in Cambodia! PPAC-142 3km Road Race [17 November 2024]

The club's sixth 3km/3000m distance race of 2024 began at 6:05 in great weather and with perfect course conditions on our Boeung Trabek road course. 14 runners joined us for this regular 3km distance club meet and final qualifying event before the PPAC Showdown. Showdown Qualifying Update [3 November 2024]

In Showdown Qualification news , following our November 5km race results, Tom and Hugo have all but guaranteed their places in the  'B' standard race with their 3rd qualifying performances and with healthy total points scores. Ty has also reached qualification for the Veteran's category with his third performance. Vincent has signaled his intent to threaten the leader board, as he is poised to take one of the last remaining spots if he can deliver another strong performance at our next race - 3km on the road coming up on 17 November. Lison has reached her third qualifying result and pulls up right alongside Meyjou at the top of the Women's 'B' standard qualification table.
