PPAC-135 5km Road Race [21 July 2024]

PPAC's July 5km took place on a brand new road course near Boeung Trabek! Runners were treated to optimal conditions, as the weather stayed cool with a slight breeze and the new course offered long, straight sections of fresh bitumen. Results 18 runners started the race at 5:59 AM and some tight battles formed almost instantly. In the Men's category, Vantha took the lead early in the race, with Hugo, in his 30th event, sticking close behind. While Vantha managed to lead at all of the checkpoints, it was Hugo who eventually ran home as the winner, snatching the lead in the final straight with a calculated kick. PPAC-134 3km Road Race [14 July 2024]

The club's third 3km/3000m distance race of 2024 began just after 6:05 AM in slightly windy running conditions with 11 runners setting off and finishing between 11 and 21 minutes. A great group of early-morning runners of all levels pushed through to complete this Sunday AM challenge at our all new Boeung Trabek Road Course ! The race report and full results are below. PPAC-133 3000m Track Meet [23 June 2024]

Our second 3000m track meet of 2024 set off at a timely 6:05AM in excellent conditions following overnight rain with15 runners completing the 7.5 laps in two heats between 11 to 21 minutes. A keen group runners with varying levels and experience showcased their determination and aerobic speed capacity in what was a first 3000m track race for a few, and a return to this distance for several! The club's fifth 5km race of 2024 began just after 5:45 AM in good running conditions with 31 runners setting off and finishing between 20 and 45 minutes. The club's fourth 5km race of 2024 set off for an early kick-off of 5:45 AM in typical mid-hot-to-rainy-season conditions with 24 runners setting off and finishing between 20 and 38 minutes. A fantastic group of early-rising runners across all levels and backgrounds brought great energy and enjoyment to the morning! The race report and full results are below.
